Microsoft provides various versions of DirectX for Windows operating systems. If you have Windows 7, you can update DirectX 11 to DirectX 11.1. Download Platform Update for Windows 7.
In order to update the DirectX version on your Windows 7 (Service Pack 1), proceed to download Platform Update. Download DirectX Update.
Here you need to select the version of installer for your operating system. If you run x86-system, then tick in the appropriate box (arrow 1) and click on the button Next (arrow 2).
Save DirectX Update.
You will see the next window. Actually, you can instantly run the DirectX update. Save the file if you want to install it later. Then click OK.
Update DirectX on your computer.
Now, you only need to launch the installer and wait until Windows Update will find the necessary files. Click on Cancel if you want to make it later.
