How to sign out of Skype

Using two Skype accounts.
As you already know, Skype can be used both for personal and business communication. For sure, we should have at least two Skype accounts so to draw a line between our private life and our occupation. Sometimes you need to sign out from the current account to log in with another one. Also, your friend might want to check his messages from your computer. By the way read How to delete history on Skype. There might be some difficulties in signing out from Skype, though.

STEP 1. When you download Skype and log in into your profile, you might not pay attention to the little notification, which tells “Sign me in when Skype starts”. And on the next launch Skype will automatically sign in for you, which is a convenient function when you are the one who uses your computer. But this is not our case.
Usually you right-click on the Skype icon in the taskbar, and then choose “Quit”. Actually, in this way you will not sign out of Skype!
STEP 2. As a matter or fact, you have two ways to log out. The first one is showed in the picture below: you need to click “Skype” to open the contextual menu and select “Sign out”.
Note: the other way to sign out is to find Skype program in the taskbar (it is the bar that shows all programs running at the moment). Right-click on the Skype program and select “Sign out”. If you click “Quit”, Skype will log in automatically on the next launch! Also learn more about How to work with Skype.
STEP 3. Once you signed out of Skype, pay attention to the special box “Sign me in when Skype starts”, which is located on the bottom of the Skype window. If you uncheck this box, sign in and then quit/sign out of Skype, it will demand that you enter login and password manually next time!
