How to set up Dropbox

Dropbox is a free cloud-based service letting you to share and save media files and documents. But how to set up Dropbox on your PC? Well, it is not a time-consuming task. Dropbox can be adjusted specifically to your needs in several clicks once you install it. You can change language, restrict speed for downloads, and change a lot more stuff. STEP 1. Download the application, and then launch installation file. In the next couple of minutes the app will be installed.
STEP 2. Locate the Dropbox icon on the taskbar and left-click on it to open a toolbar. You will see the latest 3 documents or files that were synchronized with the cloud storage.

STEP 3. In the Preferences window you can apply all necessary changes from you computer. Turn off notifications, use different language or different email for this profile.
STEP 4. Check out other settings. You can adjust speed for uploading and downloading file in the Bandwidth tab, as well as choose which files to import in the Import folder.
STEP 5. What is more, you can log in on your Dropbox account and apply necessary alterations there! Open any browser you use, go to dropbox.com, and then log in to your account.
STEP 6. You need to sign in your account. Type your details and CAPTCHA protection code, and click sign in. After that find in the right top corner name of your account and click on it. There you will find Settings link! Follow it and set up there your account!
STEP 7. When you click on Settings, a new tab will emerge in your browser. Simply uncheck boxes if you need to, in the appropriate tabs: Profile, Account, or Security.
Your Dropbox account was finally set up, so you can freely use it !
