How to run a Minecraft server

After that you should run the ехе file. Don't be afraid when the graphic editor starts to run at the same time, it's okay. Wait a minute until you see a message [INFO] Done (7,670s)! The gamers who are banned by IP are in the file banned-ips. In banned-players there are players who are banned but still can use another nickname to enter the server. Ops is a list of all administrators, server is a server log and а server.properties is a file with service settings. The first two lines point to the date of the file creation. The line generation-settings sets pattern generation (is used rarely). The setting allow-nether=true shows the ability to teleport to the Lower world. level-name=world is a directory name, which you can change according to your choice. The setting allow-flight=false determines the possibility of gamer's flight in the survival mode.
The line server-port=25565 shows the service you use. In the line level-type=DEFAULT you choose the type of the world: FLAT – super flat, DEFAULT or LARGEBIOMES - bigbiomes.
The line max-build-height=256 indicates the maximum building height on the server. In spawn-npcs=true you choose whether people will appear in the village, in spawn-animals=true you decide whether the animals will appear, and in online-mode=true you decide whether the gamers will be able to play the pirated copies.
difficulty=1 means thechoice of complexity degree ( 0 – peaceful, 1- easy, 2-medium, 3 – difficult). gamemode=0 – game type (0 – survival, 1- creativity, 2 - adventure). max-players=20 – the number of the gamers. In spawn-monsters=true you should decide whether the monsters will appear in the game.
After choosing all these settings you should save the file and run the server. Thereafter you need to enter the file ops and put in the administrator's nickname, then reboot your PC and run Minecraft.
