Test browser without Flash.
In our small explanation you will find out how to turn off Adobe Flash Player in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and, certainly, Opera. Adobe Flash Player (or Shockwave Flash Player) is a highly demanded application, and it is inherent to most browsers. Sometimes there might be some conflicts in work between your browser and Flash Player, or you might wish to test your browser work without this add-on. Hence, it is necessary to switch this plugin off from time to time. Scroll down to know how to disable Flash.
Disable Flash in Google Chrome.
Step 1. Firstly, launch Google Chrome, and then type in the address bar “chrome://plugins” without any quotation marks or spaces. After that, you need to press Enter to open the page with installed plugins.
Step 2. Find Adobe Flash Player (usually it is located somewhere on the top) and click on the button “Disable”. Chrome will turn off Flash. Un-tick the box “Always allowed” in case you do not wish to allow Flash at all.

Disable Flash (Shockwave Flash Player) in Mozilla Firefox.
Step 1. Open Mozilla Firefox and then open the main Menu (1). There, select "Add-ons" (2) to open the page.
Press Ctrl+Shift+A to open the Add-ons page immediately (Firefox will redirect you to this tab automatically).
Step 2. In this tab, find Shockwave Flash Player (2 in the screenshot). On the right, there is a pop-up menu (3) where you can choose the appropriate setting for Flash – “Never Activate”. That is it!
Disable Flash (Shockwave Flash Player) in Internet Explorer.
Step 1. Click on the cogwheel, which is located in the top right corner. In the appeared menu, choose “Manage add-ons”. A new window will pop up; all installed add-ons can be found there.
Step 2. Select to show all add-ons (1), and click on Shockwave Flash Player (2) to open settings for this plug-in. On the very bottom, you will find the button “Disable”. Click on it, and Internet Explorer will turn off Flash Player! The status will change to “Disabled” then.
Disable Flash in Opera.
Step 1. With Opera, you need to make nearly identical steps like with Google Chrome. Type in the address bar “opera://plugins” and press Enter.
You can also open the main menu, then hover the cursor on “Developer tools” and click “Plugins” there.
In case you cannot locate “Developer tools” in the menu, hover the cursor on “More tools” firstly and select “Enable developer tools”.
Step 2. Adobe Flash Player should be presented first in the list, so click on the button “Disable”. In the right corner, you will see a confirmation ‘disabled’.
