How to back up Thunderbird in MozBackup.
Step 1. Launch MozBackup from the Start menu. You will the ‘Welcome’ window. Click ‘Next’.
Step 2. Now you need to select, what you will do. Click ‘Backup a profile’ (arrow 1), and select ‘Mozilla Thunderbird’ (arrow 2). Click ‘Next’ to proceed to another step.
Step 3. You can save the backup file in the other place on your PC. Click ‘Browse’ (arrow 1), and find the necessary folder where this file should be saved. Click ‘Next’.
Step 4. It is recommended to protect your backup with password, so click ‘Yes’ here.
Step 5. Enter your password and repeat it in the appropriate area. You should encrypt your email with strong password. Write it somewhere in case you forget it.
Step 6. Uncheck the boxes (arrow 1) to deselect files, which you do not want to save. Click on the button ‘Next’.
